Laboratories, Partner Institutions, and Collaborative Work

LEFT-P uses laboratories and partner-facing structures to support focused research and cooperation without multiplying departments unnecessarily.

The Laboratory for Nouvelles Positions is built through cooperation with Nouvelles Positions. It provides a structured route for work involving shared theoretical projects, editorial exchange, and public-facing conceptual development.

The Laboratory for Critical Theory functions as a subordinate laboratory within LEFT-P’s wider institutional structure. Its role is to support research in critical theory, ideology critique, Marxism, and related forms of contemporary theoretical analysis.

Laboratories differ from departments. They are more flexible, project-oriented, and relational. They make it possible to organise specialised work without presenting every research direction as a full department.
