Institutional Statement

Mission and Scope

The public mandate, fields of work, and institutional routes of the League of Engaged Frontier Theory and Praxis.

Mission

To give public and durable form to engaged theoretical work.

The League of Engaged Frontier Theory and Praxis (LEFT-P) is a not-for-profit research organisation and neo-left-wing academic community. Its mission is to support theoretical work that can be researched, edited, translated, recorded, verified, cited, and made available through public institutional routes.

LEFT-P works where philosophy, political theology, Marxism, phenomenology, philology, translation, conceptual history, and critical theory meet questions of public form. It treats concepts, manuscripts, statements, translations, conference materials, and records as institutional objects that require responsibility as well as interpretation.

The mission of the League is therefore not limited to publication. It includes the construction of procedures, offices, archives, correspondence routes, and research-integrity practices through which theoretical labour becomes transmissible and publicly accountable.
